The career of La Tanya Nicole Martine, also known as La Tanya Louis, spans over 25 years. She began her work as a Custom Fashion Designer taking on special projects for celebrities such as celebrity hairstylist Kimberly Kimble, gospel recording artist Judith Christie McAllister, and actress Sonya Maddox to name a few. Throughout the course of her career she has owned a specialty fashion boutique and ventured into the world of Costume Design working in film, stage and television.

La Tanya currently operates her freelance fashion service where she lends her talents to the many facets the fashion industry offers through producing fashion shows, creating striking fashion statements through the art of fashion styling, custom designing and designing her own signature line of clothing.

On the educational front, Ms. Louis holds a B.A. in Fashion Design, an M.F.A. in Fashion and an M.B.A. in International Business. She was recently appointed as a full time Fashion Professor at Santa Monica College, and additionally has taught at various universities such as Woodbury University, Beverly Hills Design Institute and AIU, teaching Fashion Design Studio courses, Fashion Merchandising and Digital Design. As a Fashion Show Producer, Ms. Louis is credited with producing the seven most recent Santa Monica College LA Mode Fashion Shows from 2015 -2021, with the latter two shows presented as innovative virtual productions as a result of the pandemic.
